Hi Welcome to my Blog! What I would like to accomplish here is to reach out, motivate and empower others to realize their own potential for success. Using this platform to network with others who have success as their final goal can be both global and rewarding.

I can remember working 2-3 jobs, and playing poker on the weekends to raise three children as a single parent. On one occasion all we had to eat was a pack of ramen noodles. I prepared the soup to share amongst the four of us and as I went to give a spoonful to my youngest son, holding the bowl underneath his chin to catch any droppings, he suddenly sneezed so hard that it blessed the soup! Needless to say we all went to bed hungry.

I continued to grow at work and my boss approached me about a promotion with only one stipulation, I had to attain a histology licensure. So I studied, took the exam, and became a Histologist. My first taste of success!

Over the next 30 years I made histology my career and things finally started falling into place. I became a Lead in the Histology department, decided to go to college, my youngest son was finally on his own, I was living comfortably paying my bills and having a little extra to spare; until 2019 when I was diagnosed with cancer. Radiation and chemo pretty much tried to knock me down for the next three years, it was hard but I refused to give up! During this time I couldn’t work full time, but when I could, I would work 2-3 days a week to keep my medical insurance active. I continued college remotely until my health took precedence, and started to crochet more.

Seventy five percent of my website portfolio was done during my battle with cancer which helped me pay the bills. On February 11, 2022 I was informed that I was cancer free! I am regaining my strength and back to work full time. In November of last year I purchased a new home and I registered back to college to finish my degree which I successfully completed and graduated in May of 2022. I was blessed to be able to walk for commencement along with my fellow classmates and once again experience SUCCESS.

Soooo long story short, I was given a second chance to do the things I love to do. I’ve always dreamed of having my own boutique, I never imagined it would be web-based but here I am! I’m blogging to develop a network of contacts to help me along this journey, and to show that anything is possible no matter what obstacles life presents us with.

Those that have turned their hobbies into a business, successful professionals in business and sales or just friendly people who want to succeed or motivate others or me for that matter, simply chat about crochet, dogs and or cooking, I await your thoughts.

Warm Regards,
